Located 1.5 Miles from the Stonehenge site, the environmentally sensitive centre opened its doors in December 2013. The new visitors centre houses permanent and temporary exhibitions, including nearly 300 archaeological treasures found buried at the site – as well as a gallery, a gift shop and a 110-seater counter service café that serves hot and cold food using locally-sourced produce.
HCE were thrilled to be approached by Consultants Sefton Horn Winch to tender for one of the most well-known historical sites in the UK and were delighted to be entrusted with this very exacting and high-end specification project.
